Scott Architects was formed in 2025 by Mark Scott and is based in Dromore, Co. Down.

Building upon a portfolio of private work and over a decade of experience working in award-winning architectural firms in both Northern Ireland and San Francisco California. A passion for residential architecture and extensive knowledge of construction helped secure a position in one of San Francisco’s top residential architecture firms, Butler Armsden Architects. Working under the leadership of renowned architect Lewis Butler led to invaluable experience that has inspired Scott Architects to bring a refreshing approach to architecture across Northern Ireland.

We provide a diverse, creative and sensitive approach to every project, including extensive experience in conservation architecture. Understanding the delicate balance between preserving heritage and introducing new design elements. Our expertise extends to working with traditional materials and design principles, carefully integrating them into the correct environment in line with today’s building requirements. 

We enjoy collaborating closely with clients to understand their vision, bringing their dreams and aspirations to life through thoughtful and forward-thinking design. Our commitment is to deliver excellence in every aspect of our work from the initial client meeting through to end use.

Our portfolio to date showcases a selection of private projects taken from conception through to completion prior to formally establishing Scott Architects.
